A heads-up for the upcoming update from 1.0.1.0 to 1.0.2.1 (or a later version) on PC: there is a bug in version 1.0.1.0 that can cause an error message to be shown instead of the download progress window. You should ignore that error message and the update will continue as intended.
If you dismiss the error message before the download is finished, update will be cancelled and you remain on the old version of GeneralSync. You can attempt the update again the next time GeneralSync is started.
I'm very sorry for the confusion caused by this bug. The issue is fixed in version 1.0.2.1, so subsequent updates will should display the correct download progress bar in every situation.
(The update to 1.0.2.1 is currently only available to users that selected the beta update channel, but will become available for everyone in a few days.)
