The homepage has been redesigned to include a short step-by-step tutorial describing the setup for two devices and a more streamlined feature list.
As described in the last announcement, I've been working on a tutorial video demonstrating the setup of GeneralSync to help new users with the initial setup. Said video is finally finished and now available on the GeneralSync homepage as well as on YouTube.
To permit everyone to freely store and share copies of the video, it is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International license. A download link can be found directly below the video.
What's next? I've started working on new WiFi policies on Android, to permit more reliable connections to other devices without keeping the WiFi running all the time. Furthermore, Thunderbird 52 will be released soon; I'm currently in the process of testing the corresponding update for the GeneralSync integration add-on.
