Hi. After adding an appointment in Thunderbird, my phone agenda is updated directly. But there is no sync after adding an appointment in the phone agenda.
All appointments made in the phone agenda are only synced after adding a new appointment in thunderbird.
Win10Home
Thunderbird 78.8.1
Generalsync 1.0.3.0.
Restarting thunderbird or generalsync does not solve the issue.
Forcing sync does not work
No other issues with thunderbird

Thanks for your interest in GeneralSync!

It sounds as if there is something blocking your phone from reaching your PC. The most common cause for these kind of issues are "security" programs (firewall, antivirus, etc.) or apps that are intended to improve battery life. Depending on the tool you use, you might need to add an exception to GeneralSync traffic from your phone.
Note that the cause can be on either end of the connection (or both). If you did not install any tools on either device, check the Windows Firewall: maybe you accidentally denied GeneralSync's request for incoming network access during first-run setup?
Forcing sync does not work
Given that you reported that adding a new appointment in Thunderbird successfully syncs data, I'm sure that forcing a sync on the PC does work. You can find the button for that in the GeneralSync dashboard: double-click on the GeneralSync icon in the system tray, select your smartphone in the list on the left and finally click on the two arrows in a circle above the list of synced content on the right.
Note that the big "sync" button in Thunderbird's calendar tab does not trigger a sync, as it has nothing to do with GeneralSync. If you press it, Thunderbird will refresh all calendars – if you only have local and GeneralSync calendars, it does effectively nothing.
